It is easy for people to talk about making a difference in the life of a child but our hardworking and caring staff achieve this every summer. Our young people live in a challenging world today and the few weeks they spend at camp will leave a lasting impression on their lives. What makes our staff different is their commitment to the development of the young people they serve. They teach life skills as they teach activities, providing campers with opportunities to be independent, learn how to live in harmony with others, solve problems, realize their full potential and build self-esteem.
Many staff members count their summer experience at camp to be among the most influential of their lives and you can expect to grow and change just like your campers do. One of the best things about working at camp is the friends you will make as you get to be part of a community rich in diversity. For the first time this year, staff members now have their own personal camp online account. Staff can log in to their account to complete required forms, download useful information and find out the latest staff news from camp. Click here to visit our site to access your account using the login and password sent to you when you were hired for camp this year. With this new system, sending us the information we need for camp will be easier and more convenient for us and for you.

Tony Bentley
Tony is from Milton Keynes, England and has been coming each summer to Camp Vacamas since 2006. Working with our teen campers at Vacamas. Tony has led adventure trips in backpacking and canoeing and enjoys the rustic outdoor life. This summer Tony will be our Teen Trip Coordinator and will plan and manage 16 off camp adventure trips for teens and help supervise our entire teen camp. We look forward to working with Tony again this summer.
