gift of appreciated securities may be a
fast and easy way of supporting Vacamas
while deriving significant tax benefits.
It is almost always a better tax
strategy to transfer appreciated
securities directly to Vacamas, rather
than selling them and donating the
proceeds of the sale.
Gifts of long-term appreciated
securities provide two important income
tax benefits:

tax is imposed on the appreciated
portion of the gift (capital gains).
Donors will
receive a charitable income tax
deduction for the stock’s full fair
market value, up to 30 percent of one's
adjusted gross income, with any balance
carried forward for up to five years.

Give to your favorite charity by donating with

made in dollars or Membership Rewards® points.

requirements as a record of your contribution.
