Welcome to the Vacamas website.  I invite you to visits all our pages and learn about our many programs.

For the past 87 years, through good times and bad, our organization has been committed to providing our children with a positive experience in our camps and school programs.

Whether you are a parent considering one of our camps for your child, or a prospective donor interested in learning more about the various programs and activities sponsored by our organization, I hope that we provide you with valuable information. In these difficult economic times, we at Vacamas remain committed to serving our families through our school-based interventions and our on-camp programs. We know that our services are in demand more than ever before, and we are constantly striving to expand and adapt to meet the needs of those in our communities.

As we strive to meet the challenges that we face in today’s tough climate, we need to count on our friends who have supported us over the years. Your generosity and commitment have helped us survive difficult experiences in the past, and will get us through into the future.

We are focusing much of our energies right now on registering children for our various camp programs, including our Vacamas Day Camp and our three sleep away camps. In a year of great challenges, Vacamas Programs for Youth is busier than ever and more dedicated to our mission of helping deserving youngsters throughout the metropolitan. We look forward to many more years of making memories and changing lives for the children of Vacamas.
